Quandary or an Opportunity?

Our society is becoming more polarized and many would say it’s for many different reasons. I would submit to anyone that happens to read this that this is because of two things: Worldview (what is your faith in) and social media.

Our “betters” or the elites in theWhite House, Congress, Ivy league, Oxford, WEF, and many other places are now trying to control social media and communication in order to force people into a certain worldview or faith position. Worldview is the cause, social media and media in general is the vehicle they are using to propagate it.

Ultimately it comes back to what you believe about life and how we got here. If you believe we are a random chance freak of nature it will lead you to certain conclusions that follow in line with the now trending authoritarianism we saw throughout covid and what is sure to follow from our ever increasing central government that is out of control in the US and even more so abroad. If you believe in a God - the Christian God in particular - that created everything and it is for Him that you live and breath and have meaning and purpose - then you are not in line with the new wokeness as you serve a different king and the beliefs you have will never conform to the edicts of the World Economic Forum.

Bringing this back to local politics - people still do have a choice in the matter and we all need to encourage folks to take voting seriously. If everyone that could vote did - it would be much harder for anyone to try to cheat. The lone exception then being of improper algorithms in machine counting systems. Ever asked yourself why Dominion voting systems won’t let anyone see their source code? I digress - forgive me.

My hope in Stephenson county at least is that while we can passionately disagree on policy and priorities we can treat each other with dignity and respect. That should work in every direction not just for those who support a certain viewpoint over others.
